Security records that stand up to review

Securus handles access control, incident logging, visitor and contractor management, and the reporting that an auditor, an insurer or an investigation actually asks for. On-premise where the site requires it.

The problem

The question is never "who has a pass". It is "who was here on the 14th"

Access control hardware records events. It rarely helps you reconstruct what happened three months ago.

Most facilities run a card reader system that logs door events, a visitor book at reception, an incident log in a spreadsheet and a contractor induction record in a filing cabinet. Each is fine in isolation. None of them answers the question that gets asked after something goes wrong, which is always some version of "who was in the building, why, and who authorised it".

Securus puts those records in one place with a retention policy and an audit trail, so the answer takes minutes rather than a week of cross-referencing.

Access control integration with common reader hardware
Visitor pre-registration, on-site check-in and host notification
Contractor induction, permit-to-work and insurance expiry tracking
Incident logging with severity, escalation and follow-up actions
Patrol and inspection rounds with scan verification
Retention policies and exportable audit reports
Capabilities

What Securus covers

Designed with security managers, which is why the reporting is the part we spent longest on.

Access control

Integration with reader and controller hardware, cardholder lifecycle, zone-based permissions and anti-passback exception reporting.

Visitor management

Pre-registration links, self check-in with photo capture, badge printing, host notification and automatic sign-out at end of day.

Contractor compliance

Induction records, permit-to-work, insurance and certification expiry tracking that blocks site entry when a document lapses.

Incident management

Structured logging with severity classification, evidence attachment, escalation routing and corrective action tracking to closure.

Patrols & inspections

Scheduled rounds with checkpoint scanning, exception capture and missed-patrol alerting.

Reporting & retention

Configurable retention per record type, and report templates built for insurer, auditor and management requests.

Who it's for

Where it fits

Multi-tenant buildings

Where reception, tenants and contractors all need controlled, recorded access without three separate systems.

Regulated & secure sites

Facilities where data residency and full auditability are contractual requirements rather than preferences.

Retail & logistics facilities

High contractor turnover and stock loss investigations that depend on reconstructable access records.

Securus FAQ

Before you get in touch

Yes. On-premise and air-gapped deployments are supported, which is why the product still exists in environments where a cloud-only tool is not permitted.
No — it sits above it. We integrate with common controller platforms so you keep the hardware and gain the record-keeping and reporting.
You set retention per record type, subject to your own policy and PDPA obligations. We will help you define it if that conversation has not happened yet.
It can be, and the system supports the notification, consent and retention controls that make it so. The compliance depends on your process as much as the software; we advise on both.
