Singapore's climate reporting regime does not just ask for a number. It asks you to stand behind it, and eventually to have it assured.

Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas reporting is already mandatory for Singapore-listed issuers, with wider obligations phasing in over the following years and external limited assurance arriving later still. ACRA and SGX RegCo extended several of these timelines in 2025, which bought companies time — it did not remove the requirement.

The hard part is never the arithmetic. It is collecting defensible activity data from operations and suppliers, applying the right emission factor for the right year and geography, and being able to show six months later where a figure came from. Spreadsheets do the first calculation adequately and the second reporting cycle terribly.

Worth knowing: Singapore has taken an ISSB-informed, climate-first approach rather than adopting IFRS S1 and S2 wholesale into law. Karbon0 maps your data to the ISSB-based disclosures embedded in the SGX rules, and to GRI and TCFD where you also report against those.

Yes, including the supplier data collection that makes Scope 3 workable. Categories are configured to your value chain rather than all fifteen by default, because reporting a category badly is worse than documenting why it is not material.
GRI, TCFD, and the ISSB-based climate disclosures as embedded in the SGX Listing Rules. Singapore has not adopted IFRS S1 and S2 directly into law, so we map to what the rules actually require.
External limited assurance on Scope 1 and 2 has been deferred under the revised Singapore timelines, but the system is built for it: source documents attached to every figure, change history, and period locking with reviewer sign-off.
