Most business apps fail in the car park

Not in the demo. In the basement, the loading bay, the lift lobby — wherever the signal drops.

An app used by staff in the field lives in conditions no office test covers. One bar of signal. A cracked screen in direct sunlight. Gloves. A driver who has ninety seconds between drops and will abandon anything that takes longer.

That is a design constraint, not a nice-to-have. It decides whether the app writes locally and syncs later, how large the tap targets are, whether the flow survives a mid-form phone call, and what happens to a submission made in a tunnel. We build for those conditions first, because an app your team works around is worse than no app.

What clients ask first

A focused internal app with a straightforward backend usually starts in the tens of thousands. A customer-facing app with accounts, payments and integrations costs considerably more. The two biggest cost drivers are integrations with your existing systems and whether you need two native codebases or one cross-platform build — both are settled during scoping.
Cross-platform if the app behaves the same on both platforms; it roughly halves build and maintenance. Native if you need heavy hardware access, demanding performance, or a genuinely platform-specific experience. We recommend based on your requirements, not on what we prefer writing.
Yes, including the review process and the rejections that sometimes come with it. You keep ownership of the developer accounts and signing certificates.
